I don't have scary nightmares, but the worst recurring dream that I have is that I am back in high school, which for me, IS a nightmare.

One of my reoccuring dreams is that I too, am in a big house, trying to hide from someone or something and its like Macaulay Culkin in that stupid movie where there are a gabillion boobie traps I have to logic my way through to stay in the house and be hidden from the bad thing, whatever it may be. Basicially it is a human version of that mousetrap game. The other reoccuring dream I have involved Orlando Bloom and I am not sharing those details, thanks.

I've had that fucked up school dream...except it's HS, and it's a math class, and it incorporates the secret passages/completely lost in building designed by crack smoking hippies element, too. My other recurring nightmare is a rip of Stephen King's "The Long Walk"...except it's an obstacle course of death. I have this when I'm really stressed, night after night...and the obstacles keep. getting. worse. Ugh.

You DO know that according to Freudian dream analysis that "rooms" represent the vagina? I wonder if that is where the slang term "box" comes from? OK, recurring nightmares: (1) I dream I am somewhere random and I can't find my husband and I get more and more scared and frantic ... and then I see him ... with his current wife. (2) I have incredibly violent dreams about being hunted by a serial killer (probably from reading too many thrillers) and at some point I start to turn the tables and *I* end up hacking up the killer into pieces. Quick, somebody tell me you still love me!!!! Incidentally, "dream control" refers to lucid dreaming which is fairly unusual, but I do it on a pretty regular basis. OK, so I'm unusual ... somebody tell me you still love me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never stopped loving you! Actually, my latest Solid Gold Nightmare was as a result of a creepy Jack-the-Ripper-style novel I was reading, so I'm sure a lot of mine are as a result of something I'm reading. Nancy Drew? What. Shut up. Didn't EVERYONE read her?

Um no, we didn't have Nancy Drew in England. We had Enid Blyton's "Famous Five".

Does this work if I type in a phony URL? Because I have to be all secrety. Because I dream sometimes that a woman (my sister, my banker, my hairdresser, whomever) sprouts a weenie and then we do it do it do it and if you tell anyone I'll thwack ya upside the head. So there.

GL I *just* read The Long Walk for the umpteenth time. I think I even managed to semi convince myself he didn't die at the end this time. Shoosh.
